At the Tárcoles River estuary (Costa Rica), in some of the filthiest waters live dozens of large, healthy-looking crocodiles, which gave me an analogy as far as my work with community: a person might come from a muddy environment, but his or her *heart-mind-hand work* trilogy is always capable of fantastic creation. Once that person is given the initial push to think creatively, there’s no turning back! Community work is an opportunity to express ourselves to others, making them understand our perception and, to a certain extent, follow our own steps forward.
All the action as seen from the bridge over River Tárcoles, Costa Rica.
